The strong anion exchange (SAX) SPE cartridge is a quaternary ammonium bonded phase of the silica matrix, which is always positively charged in the full pH range and has a strong anion exchange capacity. Ion-exchange SAX SPE cartridges are mainly used for the extraction of weak anionic compounds. They are ideal for extracting weakly acidic compounds such as carboxylic acids.

  • Detection of hormone residues in meat products;

  • Remove anions from the sample, such as organic acids, nucleotides, sulfonates, and inorganic anions.
