Description of  SPE C18 cartridge

Hawach C18 solid phase extraction (SPE) cartridge uses octadecyl silica as a filler to retain non-polar compounds by strong hydrophobic interaction. A C18 cartridge solid phase extraction is a specific type of sorbent cartridge used for the extraction and purification of analytes from liquid samples. The filler retains most of the organic matter and is widely used in the fields of environmental and food safety. The stationary phase of the SPE cartridge consists of hydrophobic C18 (Octadecyl) functional groups chemically bonded to the silica support. SPE C18 is a popular reversed-phase material used in chromatography due to its excellent retention and separation properties for a wide range of compounds.
