Description of PRS SPE Cartridges
The PRS propane sulfonic acid strong cationic solid-phase extraction (SPE) cartridge is a strong cation exchange type extraction cartridge with propane sulfonic acid bonded silica as a filler, which has good retention ability for weakly basic compounds.
There is no non-polar secondary action in the PRS and thus has a unique selectivity. When using SCX, when non-polar components in the sample matrix interfere, PRS can be used for extraction.
