Neutral alumina (ALN) SPE cartridge. Highly active porous alumina, the surface electrons of which form a pi-pi interaction with the aromatic ring, have strong polarity retention and Lewis acid properties. Compared to unbonded silica, alumina is more stable in high pH environments and is suitable for the extraction of aromatic amines.
Alumina has been specially treated to have three types of acidic (ALA) neutral (ALN) and basic (ALB), which can be matched to different target compounds.
